The new faces of cancer: Young, outspoken and online

This project was part of a series at The Washington Post about more young people getting diagnosed with cancer. This video series explores what life planning, dating, money, and body image look like when you’re diagnosed with cancer in your 20s or 30s.

Even with the weight of the subject, we wanted the art direction to echo our narrators’ voices—layering in millennial nostalgia and a playful sense of humor about a tough topic.
